“There is so much in life to be thankful for! I am thankful for finding Todd Norian and the life-changing and healing Ashaya Yoga®. I am thankful to my husband, John, and children, Micah and Mia, for supporting me on this journey.” Linda Moran
Linda Moran has been studying yoga since 1993 and teaching since 2004. She began taking yoga as part of a plan to manage a chronic back problem and fell in love with it in its entirety.
In addition to teaching yoga, Linda has been a physical therapist since 1982. She earned an Advanced Master of Science in Orthopedic Manual Therapy and Sports Physical Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. In her private PT practice, she specializes in alternative forms of manual therapy, including CranioSacral therapy, myofascial release, and visceral manipulation.
Linda’s advanced training and extensive experience in both physical therapy and yoga combine to provide a therapeutic experience for her students. Together, physical therapy and yoga provide optimal healing on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.
Linda earned her Raj Ashtanga 200-hour YTT (yoga teacher training) certification from Focal Point Yoga in Stow MA. Then she began searching for a teacher under whom to study for another 300 hours to earn a 500-hour certification. She had high standards for proper alignment and a healing therapeutic effect, but also wanted a true yoga of the heart and soul to continue her journey of self-exploration and discovery.
She found what she was looking for, and more, at a weekend workshop with Todd Norian in 2011. After beginning his 300-hour teacher training, she realized there was so much more to this method that she took a detour through the 200-hour training and earned an Ashaya Yoga 200-hour certification in 2015. She is a certified and registered Ashaya Yoga® instructor.
Linda stays involved with Ashaya Yoga® by assisting Todd in both the 200 and 300 hour yoga teacher training.
Linda loves the depth and profound healing that is possible with Ashaya Yoga®. Her class is a fun, therapeutic, and heartfelt.
She strives to support and nurture each student, while seeing and encouraging each student’s potential for greatness.
